Hypnobirthing in Hemel Hempstead

Welcome to Together Birthing and congratulations on your pregnancy. If you are looking for hypnobirthing in Hemel Hempstead or hypnobirthing in Hertfordshire, you have come to the right place! My name is Emma. I am a HypnoBirthing mum and Hypnobirthing practitioner, trained with the Hypnobirthing Institute and more recently with Hypnobirhting by Jenny Mullan, accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. Having done hypnobirthing myself, I’ve experienced first-hand the difference that HypnoBirthing skills can make to the experience of labour and birth and I have a passion for sharing the marvel of hypnobirthing with other parents-to-be. Based in Potten End, I teach hypnobirthing classes just 5-10 minutes drive from Hemel Hempstead.

The hypnobirthing classes that I teach include breathing techniques, deep relaxation, fear release and self-hypnosis techniques to help prepare you for a calmer, easier birthing experience. The techniques are easy to learn and hypnosis is just a form of relaxation. You are fully aware and in control the whole time. The course also includes emotional release hypnosis to help release any anxieties that you might be feeling about birth. The course also provides a practical guide to labour and birth including how the body functions, the importance of the birth environment and the birth companion’s role. You will also learn some exercises and nutritional advice.

I teach group 4-week and 2-day hypnobirthing courses from my home studio in Potten End (see location), just 10 minutes drive from Hemel Hempstead, situated in a tranquil garden setting adjacent to the woods. The weekly evening classes last 2.5 hours and the weekend day classes run from 10 am until 4 pm. The classes are small and friendly with up to a maximum of four couples. The group classes give you an opportunity to get to know other like-minded couples. You can ask any questions and feel at ease in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Alternatively, I also offer private hypnobirthing classes at times convenient for you.

Finally, I also offer 2 hour refresher/revision classes from my home studio in Potten End (see location), for those who have done hypnobirthing before but need a refresher class. These classes are tailored to your specific needs.
