HypnoBirthing classes in St AlbansHypnobirthing in Luton

Welcome to Together Birthing and congratulations on your pregnancy. If you are looking for hypnobirthing in Luton, or hypnobirthing in Bedfordshire, you have come to the right place! My name is Emma. I am a Hypnobirthing mum and Hypnobirthing practitioner. Having experienced hypnobirthing myself with the birth of my second son, I love sharing the marvel of hypnobirthing with other parents-to-be so they too can have an empowering and positive birthing experience, even after a previous difficult experience.

I teach hypnobirthing classes from my home studio in Potten End, a picturesque village, just 25 minutes drive from Luton. The studio is situated in a peaceful garden setting adjacent to some woods – see location.

Hypnobirthing Classes

I offer 4-week (2.5 hour evening classes) and two-day (weekends 10 am until 4 pm) group hypnobirthing courses just 25 minutes’ drive from Luton in Potten End (see location). They are a great way to meet like-minded parents-to-be in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Alternatively I offer private hypnobirthing classes at times convenient for you.

Finally, I also offer 2 hour refresher/revision classes from my home in Potten End (see location), for those who have done hypnobirthing before but need a refresher class. These classes are tailored to your specific needs.

The courses help you to release negative thoughts, anxieties and fears through hypnosis and emotional release techniques, so that you can trust in your own natural birthing instinct. You will also learn breathing, deep relaxation and visualisation techniques and tools needed to stay calmer and more in control during labour and birth. By doing a course in hypnobirthing, you are giving yourself and your baby the best opportunity for an easier, drug-free and empowering birthing experience.

Birth Choices in Luton

Some women choose to have their babies at home because they like the comfort and familiarity of their home environment. You can also have a water birth at home if you hire an inflatable birthing pool. Alternatively, you may prefer to birth your baby in a birth centre. Luton & Dunstable offer a midwifery-led birth centre, located alongside the labour ward so that obstetric medical care is close at hand if intervention is required. The birth centre has a ‘home from home’ feel to it, with less medical equipment around and an emphasis on natural birth. Sometimes you may be required to have birth on the labour ward due to your circumstances. A birth pool is usually available on the labour ward and the birth centre at the Luton & Dunstable hospital. Speak to your midwife for more information or book a tour.
