Welcome to Together Birthing and congratulations on your pregnancy. If you are looking for hypnobirthing in Leighton Buzzard or hypnobirthing in Bedfordshire, I teach online hypnobirthing classes for couples in and around Leighton Buzzard. My name is Emma. I am a Hypnobirthing mum and Hypnobirthing practitioner. Having experienced hypnobirthing myself, I have a passion for helping other parents-to-be experience birth in a positive way without fear and I know first hand just what a huge difference hypnobirthing techniques can make to the birthing experience.

Hypnobirthing Classes

I teach group hypnobirthing classes, which are held on 4 weekly evenings (2 hours) and cost £130 per couple including the hypnobirthing book and 9 relaxation downloads. The classes are small and friendly and are a chance to make friends with other like-minded parents-to-be from your area.

If you prefer, I also offer private hypnobirthing classes (see location) at times convenient for you at a cost of £250 per couple.

If you have done hypnobirthing before and just need a refresher, I also offer 2.5 hour refresher/revision classes – these classes are tailored to your specific needs and cost from £55 per couple.

The classes help prepare you and your birthing partner for a calmer more comfortable birthing experience and helps you overcome any fears from previous experiences or first time nerves, so that you can approach birth feeling more at ease and confident. You will learn how to give birth instinctively using breathing, visualisation, deep relaxation and fear-release techniques and your birthing partner plays an integral role throughout labour and birth.

Birth Choices in Leighton Buzzard

Some women choose to have their babies at home because they like the comfort and familiarity of their home environment. You can also have a water birth at home if you hire an inflatable birthing pool. Alternatively, you may prefer to birth your baby in a birth centre. Luton & Dunstable offer a midwifery-led birth centre, located alongside the labour ward so that obstetric medical care is close at hand if intervention is required. The birth centre has a ‘home from home’ feel to it, with less medical equipment around and an emphasis on natural birth. Sometimes you may be required to have birth on the labour ward due to your circumstances. A birth pool is usually available on the labour ward and the birth centre at the Luton & Dunstable hospital. Speak to your midwife for more information or book a tour.
